IRONMAN Mont Tremblant
August 19, 1st place, 8:10:36, Results
My IRONMAN debut in Mont Tremblant was the culmination of a multiyear plan and an utterly surreal experience! Following an hour delayed start, I had a personal best swim, exiting the water in 2nd. I soon took the lead on the bike and never looked back, going on to bike and overall course records as the first Canadian to win this special race.
You can listen to my reflections on this dream day in a collection of podcasts. Check out the video coverage of the race below, my pre-race interview and post-race interview with Triathlon Magazine Canada, a video of one my longest training days presented by Suunto, and my Ask Me Anything thread on Slowtwitch.com (a deep dive into my prep and execution).

IRONMAN Chattanooga
September 30, 1st, 7:10:22 (cancelled swim), Results
After IRONMAN Mont Tremblant, I decided to strike while the iron was hot, setting my sights on IRONMAN Chattanooga just six weeks later. I bounced back well from IMMT and found top form following a brief training block. I was able to replicate my first IRONMAN performance in Chattanooga, enjoying the experience all the more the second time. Check out my video recap and coverage of the race.
